Hexbound

Hexbound is a retro first-person shooter where you fight through hostile levels, search for secrets and resources, improve your loadout, and work toward the exit. Demons, monsters, robots, and bosses become more dangerous as the campaign goes on.

How to Play Hexbound

Each level mixes combat with exploration. Clear enemies while looking for routes, keys, switches, elevators, and hidden caches that may hold ammunition, gold, weapons, or upgrades. Don’t rush blindly through unfamiliar areas: enemies can appear suddenly, and projectiles can quickly drain your health.

Keep moving during fights. Strafe to make incoming attacks harder to track, watch for escape routes, and avoid staying in one place long enough to be surrounded. Switch between guns, melee weapons, and magic instead of relying on one weapon for every encounter.

Upgrades and Combat Priorities

Spend upgrade or perk points on the weapons, abilities, and magical powers you use most. A focused loadout can help when enemy groups grow larger and bosses demand more movement, timing, and damage.

Save powerful spells for crowded fights or boss encounters. Explore before leaving a level when possible, since hidden areas can supply equipment and ammunition for the challenges ahead.
