Minecraftle gives you 10 guesses to find a secret crafting recipe on a 3×3 grid. Pick from eight ingredients or Empty, place your choices into the slots, and press Check to receive feedback for every position.

What is Minecraftle?

Minecraftle is a daily crafting puzzle with one shared recipe per UTC day. The recipe uses three to six ingredients, while the remaining grid cells stay empty. You need at least one ingredient on the board, but you do not need to fill all nine slots.

Each guess returns one of three results:

  • Correct means the ingredient or Empty selection matches that slot.
  • Move means the ingredient belongs in the recipe but sits in a different slot.
  • Not needed means the ingredient is not part of the recipe.

Position matters as much as the ingredient list. An ingredient can belong in the recipe and still receive Move because it is in the wrong cell. Empty is a real selection, and a Correct empty slot is part of the solution pattern.

How to Play Minecraftle

Choose an ingredient from the tray, place it on the grid, and press Check. Use the marks to narrow both which ingredients belong and where they go. You have 10 guesses to match the full pattern.

The daily puzzle changes at 00:00 UTC. A win counts toward the streak for that UTC date, while a loss resets the streak. Unlimited supplies a new practice recipe without changing the daily streak. The archive lets you replay past UTC dates, but those rounds do not repair a broken streak.

Hard mode can be used in Daily or Unlimited. It locks every slot marked Correct, including a Correct empty slot, and does not change the number of guesses.

Tips for Minecraftle

Keep every Correct slot fixed when solving the regular puzzle. Treat Move as confirmation that the ingredient belongs somewhere else, then test another position. Do not overlook Empty: a blank slot can be part of the correct pattern, and it can also become a locked Correct slot in hard mode.

The available ingredients are Ashchip, Reedbind, Slatechip, Tinleaf, Brassdrop, Prismbit, Emberdust, and Kilnclay. An empty board slot is allowed, but at least one ingredient must be placed before checking a recipe.

Game Controls
