You start by choosing a religion archetype, a name, and a founding country or region. Options include Monotheism, Shamanism, Spiritualism, Paganism, and Pantheon. Each archetype has different traits, cultural values, advantages, and drawbacks, so your first choice affects how the religion develops.
The main objective is to build a lasting global belief system. Your religion moves through historical eras from the ancient world and Middle Ages to the modern world. To survive, it must handle cultural differences, political pressure, the growth of atheism, and resistance from local societies.
How to Play God Simulator
Use the interface to grow your faith through Preaching, new religious Features, Interventions, and custom doctrines. Successful conversions bring in more believers and help you earn Enlightenment points, also referred to as Faith points. Spend those points on abilities that improve adaptability, strengthen loyalty, increase conversion speed, or expand your influence into new regions.
A strategy that works in one civilization may fail in another. Before expanding, consider local traditions, customs, and cultural values, then adjust your religion instead of forcing one doctrine everywhere. You also need to balance aspects such as popularity, austerity, and fanaticism; extreme choices can make the religion unstable later.
