Martin: No Filter Fighters puts sitcom-inspired fighters into fast 2D arena battles. Choose a character, select a sidekick, and defeat your opponent by reducing their health to zero before they do the same to you.
How to Play Martin: No Filter Fighters
Combat uses movement, punches, kicks, blocks, special attacks, and supers. Light strikes can start an offense, while heavier attacks help create openings for longer combos. Launchers can send an opponent into the air, where you can follow with more hits.
Sidekick assists give you another way to interrupt pressure or extend a combo. Save the assist for a clear opening instead of calling it randomly. Special moves and super attacks can swing a round, but throwing them out of range wastes an important chance to deal damage.
Some arenas have breakable floors, ceilings, or walls. A strong launcher or knockdown can send the fight into another section of the stage, so positioning near a boundary matters. Keep blocking when the opponent has momentum, then counterattack after their pressure ends.
Battle Modes
Story battles use encounters themed around classic sitcom episodes. Arcade mode sends you through a ladder of increasingly tough computer-controlled opponents, while Training or Dojo mode lets you practice inputs, special cancel windows, attack ranges, and combos. Versus supports two players on one keyboard.
Tips for Martin: No Filter Fighters
- Practice basic punch and kick combinations before relying on supers.
- Block first when the opponent is attacking, then counter during the opening.
- Use the sidekick to stop momentum or extend a combo that has already connected.
- Watch your position near breakable boundaries because a strong knockback can change the stage section.
- Use Training or Dojo mode to compare fighters and learn their special-move ranges.
