How to Play Pokerogue

Start a run, navigate the menus, and keep advancing through combat encounters. Difficulty rises as you progress, with bosses serving as major checks before you can move on. A lost run sends you back to the start, but unlock systems add new options for future attempts.

Prioritize choices that help the current run survive rather than taking unnecessary risks for a stronger payoff. Watch battle information when you need to assess enemies, resources, or active effects, then increase the game speed only once you are comfortable making decisions quickly.
