Poople is a word ladder puzzle with one clear target: transform a given four-letter word into POOP. You change one letter per move, keep the other three letters in place, and make sure every step is a valid four-letter English word.

How to Play Poople

Each puzzle starts with a different four-letter word. Build a chain toward POOP without rearranging letters or changing more than one position at a time. For example, BOOK can become COOK, then COOP, and finally POOP.

The daily challenge gives everyone the same starting word, while unlimited practice generates additional puzzles for more word-ladder practice. The daily mode is the better choice when you want to work on the shared puzzle; practice mode lets you keep exploring after that.

Poople Tips and Strategy

Look at POOP before choosing your first move. Identify which letter positions already match the target and try to preserve them when possible.

Think several moves ahead instead of choosing any valid word. A word may follow the rules but lead to a dead end, while a useful bridge can open a shorter route. Try alternate branches when more than one word fits, and backtrack if your current path becomes inefficient.

Common four-letter words can help connect difficult positions. The goal is not only to reach POOP, but to find an efficient path with as few moves as possible.
